Dead Rising 2 ships over 2 million units, Blue Castle becomes Capcom Vancouver

Capcom has announced that its latest zombie-destruction simulator, Dead Rising 2, has shipped two million copies around the world. According to Capcom, this brings the total number of units of the Dead Rising franchise shipped worldwide to an impressive four million.

In addition, it’s been announced that Blue Castle Games, the developer of Dead Rising 2, has become a wholly owned subsidiary of Capcom following the reveal that the Canadian studio would be acquired. From now on, Blue Castle Games will be known as Capcom Game Studio Vancouver.
