It seems as though some gamers have been experiencing a bit of trouble with Mercury Steam and Konami’s excellent Castlevania: Lords of Shadows with regards to corrupt save files, or more accurately, having their save files wiped from existence.
‘No more!’ says Konami triumphantly, as a patch for the epic action adventure game has been released to take care of this peculiar error.
If you’re logged onto the PlayStation Network and you start up a game of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, you’ll be prompted to download the 16MB version 1.01 patch.
Unfortunately we aren’t able to confirm whether or not a similar patch has been released for the Xbox 360 version of Lords of Shadow, but we’ll keep you posted.
If you haven’t just yet, read El33tonline’s mega review of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow to discover why we’re pretty sure it’s game of the year material.
