Even if you missed your chance to participate in the closed Killzone 3 multiplayer beta after those snooty PlayStation Plus subscribers across Europe and North America gobbled up 15 000 invites, it’s been revealed on the official Killzone website that eager PS3 gamers now have a second chance to get in on the taster.
But whoa, hold on there bucko! You’ll need a Twitter account first…
From today until 17:00 BST on February 22, the Killzone team and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and America will be giving away a total of 300 beta invites. Here are the steps (and rules):
“The giveaway is open to anyone over the age of 18 with a valid SCEE or SCEA PSN ID and a Twitter account. To participate, just follow these three simple steps:”
Step 1
- Log in to Twitter. If you don’t have a Twitter account yet, sign up here first.
Step 2
- Make sure you’re following Killzone.com’s official Twitter account, @killzonedotcom.
Step 3
- If you have a SCEE PSN account, tweet the message below to @killzonedotcom:
- @killzonedotcom Please include me in the Killzone 3 beta! My PSN ID is [your PSN ID] #killzone3 #scee http://ow.ly/2Vfcf
- If you have a SCEA PSN account, tweet the message below to @killzonedotcom:
- @killzonedotcom Please include me in the Killzone 3 beta! My PSN ID is [your PSN ID] #killzone3 #scea http://ow.ly/2Vfcf
“Remember to replace “[your PSN ID]” with your actual PSN ID before hitting that Tweet button!
“That’s all! 150 randomly chosen participants from each territory will receive an email on October 25th containing the Killzone 3 Public Beta access code and further instructions.
“The email will be sent to the address you registered as your PSN Sign-In ID, so make sure you’ve set your notification preferences to accept emails from SCEE. Please note that Killzone.com will not enter into correspondence regarding the selection of participants.”
Best of luck to you!
