EA has revealed a collector’s edition for Dead Space 2, complete with awesome bonus content and exclusives of course!
The Dead Space 2 Collector’s Edition will include a bundle of limited edition items including a copy of the game (on the PS3, Xbox 360 or PC), a replica of Isaac’s Plasma Cutter modelled from the new design with trigger activated LED lights, as well as the original soundtrack from the game and a concept art lithograph.
You’ll also get a code to unlock Dead Space: Ignition, the prologue to Dead Space 2, on Xbox LIVE Arcade and the PlayStation Network now.
The soundtrack features an hour of music compiled from the Dead Space 2 score plus a bonus ‘Scoring of Dead Space 2’ featurette. The exclusive lithograph depicts Necromorph transformation concept art by Visceral Games artist Brett Marting. You can also look forward to unique advantages in the game thanks to the Isaac Unitology suit and accompanying Force Gun.
The PS3 version of the Collector’s Edition for European territories will include Dead Space: Extraction with PlayStation Move compatibility as well as a downloadable rivet gun.
Dead Space 2 will be available on January 25th 2011 in North America, and January 28th 2011 in Europe and the UK, across Xbox 360, PS3 and PC platforms.
