Activision is celebrating the launch of Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock by adding over 18 new downloadable tracks to the Guitar Hero music library this month.
Just in case the 93 songs on the Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock disc aren’t enough for you, you can also look forward to downloading awesome new tracks from artists like Soundgarden, Muse, My Chemical Romance and hits from ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show.’
The Rocktober track pack will be available exclusively on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace on the 19th of October, but if you’re a Gold member you can download the track pack for free for one week right now. It includes Disturbed’s ‘The Infection’ as well as ‘Resistance’ by Muse and My Chemical Romance’s ‘Na Na Na.’ The track pack will cost 440 MS Points, while each single will set you back 160 MS Points.
After that it’s time to celebrate Halloween with three classics from ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show.’ ‘Time Warp,’ ‘Sweet Transvestite’ and ‘Hot Patootie’ will be available on the 26th of October. The Rocky Horror Picture Show track pack will be available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 440 MS Points, on the PlayStation Store for £3.99 and on the Wii for 550 Wii Points.
You’ll also be able to download select individual tracks off Soundgarden’s newest platinum album Telephantasm from the 26th of October, previously only available for download as a full album. The singles will cost 160 MS Points for the Xbox 360, £1.59 for the PS3 and 200 Wii Points each. You’ll also be able to download the singles from the Rocky Horror Picture Show track pack for the same cost.
