EA has revealed that from February 2nd to February 9th, a number of online servers that currently support online play for certain of their sports-related games will be shut down.
The list is 25 titles strong, and runs the gamut of their sports offerings, from Fifa, Tiger Woods and Madden, to NHL, NFL and Nascar. According to a post on EA’s website:
“Servers for the games listed below will be shut down on the indicated dates. You may continue to play the games online up until these dates, but certain community programs may begin to close down prior to the shutdown dates.”
Here’s the list of EA games that will no longer have online support after the beginning of February:
- UEFA Champions League 07 - PC and Xbox 360
- Facebreaker - Xbox 360 and PS3
- Fantasy Football 09 - Xbox 360 and PS3
- FIFA 07 - PSP, PS2, PC
- Fight Night Round 3 - PS2
- Madden 08 - Wii
- Madden 08 - PC
- Madden 09 - Xbox 1
- Madden 09 - Wii and PSP
- March Madness 07 - Xbox 60
- NBA 07 - PSP, Xbox 360
- NBA 08 - PS2, PSP, Wii
- NBA 09 - Wii (Europe only)
- NBA Street (2007) - PS3 and Xbox 360
- NCAA Football 08 - PS2
- NCAA Football 09 - PS2
- NASCAR 08 - PS2
- NASCAR 09 - PS2
- NASCAR 09 - PS3 and Xbox 360 (Europe Only)
- NFL Tour - PS3 and Xbox 360
- NHL 07 - PSP and Xbox 360
- NHL 08 - PC
- Tiger Woods 07 - PC
- Madden 09 - Xbox 360 and PS3
- Madden 07 - Xbox 360
If you’re still a fan of any of these games, you’d best eke out as much online play as you possibly can before the server shutdown.

I am a huge Online sports fan and love to watch NBA, NFL, NHL and MLB. I thought your site would be listed there already. Keep up the good work.
