Dead Rising movie confirmed, directed by Inafune
Capcom has confirmed that the Dead Rising movie is real and coming to Xbox Live, but only in Japan.
The Dead Rising movie will be directed by the creator of Dead Rising himself, Keiji Inafune. The story will follow brothers Shin and Jouji who try to escape a quarantined area of Japan, locked down after the spread of a virus that turns people into zombies. It’s not clear whether Frank West will appear in the movie, however, the publisher believes that since its set in Japan it’s unlikely.
Head over to the Japanese website to watch a trailer for the movie. Dead Rising, the movie, will be available on Xbox Live later this year in Japan.
