Capcom and Microsoft have together announced the existence of Monster Hunter: Frontier for Xbox 360, set to be released later this year.
Not much is known about the Xbox 360 version of Monster Hunter: Frontier (which is a port of the PC massively multiplayer online game, or MMOG, which originally released in 2007 in Japan), except that a hard drive will be required to play, subscriptions will cost 1400 yen per month (roughly $15), and Xbox 360 players will remain separate from PC players, although this may change in the future.
More information as it comes, but in the meantime, you can browse through some of the released screenshots, and watch the debut trailer, for Monster Hunter: Frontier below:

Wow, I didn't know the game had such a following!
this isn't a mmo...it's just 4 players
i cannot believe this, im watering at the mouth. this was like the best kept secret in the world of online console co-op. i cant wait. and btw, it's only 4 people to a party, yes, but in the city it's much like a lobby in which you'll see way more than 4 people. which is where you'll find whoever you're going to party with. i hope this comes to america
