BioWare has promised to release more details about the downloadable content for its upcoming space opera RPG Mass Effect 2 this week.
The developer also sought to quash rumours that it would be charging extra for any new content that may be released on the game’s launch day in the same post on the developer’s Twitter account.
“Addressing rumors: BioWare will not be charging extra for any new Mass Effect 2 content on launch day. More DLC details next week.”
This comes in the wake of reports that new armour, weapons, a new planet and a new ally will be available for purchase through an in-game store.
Mass Effect 2 will be available later this month for the Xbox 360 and PC, January 26th and January 29th in North America and Europe respectively.
