EA has just reminded everybody about their Fifa 10 demo releasing tomorrow (September 10th) on the PlayStation Network, Xbox LIVE and PC (in European territories only), as well mentioning a bunch of updates and newly added features to their catalogue of online services related to the game
A North American demo will appear online on September 17th.
What’s included in the demo, and what extra features have been announced, you ask? Head on down below to find out:
“Play as Chelsea, Barcelona, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Marseille and Chicago Fire and discover a soccer experience that will deliver a new standard for authenticity with gameplay refinements and innovations that will make it the most complete and intelligent simulation of football.
“In addition to playing an exhibition match, for the first time in a FIFA demo users will be able to upload created in-game videos to EA SPORTS Football World.”
Over and above the demo, EA have announced new features for their Fifa franchise, such as today’s re-launch of EA Sports Football World, “the premier online destination for the latest football game news and inside information from the people making EA SPORTS football games.
“At EA SPORTS Football World, users can connect with other EA SPORTS football fans, talk to the developers, share their favourite video highlights uploaded directly from the game and much more! Football World is available in English, French and German.”
Also, now available to play around with is Game Face, “a new and innovative face creation tool that lets users upload photos of their face to EA SPORTS Football World and EA SPORTS.com to create their virtual likeness on the sites,” accessible through EA Sports Football World.
Last, but certainly not least, EA announced that their My Live Season premium service “has been expanded into a new game mode for FIFA 10 enabling subscribers to feel the weekly pulse of football with dynamic updates of real-world information to make the game as close to real life as possible.”
“The new My Live Season premium service in FIFA 10 will feature weekly updates of player form, transfers, injuries, suspensions, fixtures, results and league standings, creating a mode that mirrors the real world, where gamers play their favourite real-world teams’ games in complete authenticity in any of the following leagues: Barclay’s Premier League, La Liga BBVA, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Serie A and Mexican Primera Division. The game mode enables you to visually track your results against real life as you progress.
My Live Season is available for PS3 and Xbox 360 and is valued at a recommended retail price of £3.99, or 400 MS Points, for the current ongoing season, or you can subscribe to an “all leagues” package for £7.99 or 800 MS Points.
