Left 4 Dead Crash Course DLC now available

Left 4 Dead LogoCrash Course, the brand new downloadable content (DLC) for Left 4 Dead, Valve’s zombie-infused cooperative first person shooter, is now available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, but beware of the price.

When the DLC was first put up on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, it was priced at 800 MS Points, which was incorrect – the only price you should be paying for Crash Course on the service is 560 MS Points.

Alerted to the situation, Xbox mouthpiece Major Nelson tweeted that they are aware of the problem, and that it will be fixed. The price was indeed fixed and set at the correct 560 MS Points, but will reportedly take a few hours to propagate around the world, so depending on your region, you may still see 800 MS Points when being asked to download Crash Course.

Major Nelson’s advice is to wait until you see the correct price, which shouldn’t be too long now.

As for PC gamers, the Crash Course DLC isn’t currently available on your distribution platform of choice (i.e. Steam) but, again, it shouldn’t be too long a wait.

I agree another guy, why do they have to be so evasive, it only took me about an hour to sort this out

I remember the first set of DLC for L4D also released first on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, and then PC a few hours later.

The release date for both the Xbox 360 and PC versions of this new Crash Course DLC is today (Tuesday, 29th September), only it depends on which part of the world you're in for that to be true.

As usual, we'll just have to wait ;( .

530pm here in the UK and the new DLC isn't available as yet...

As Francis would say, I hate waiting!
