The pre-orders for Halo 3: ODST have now reached over 1.2 million.
According to VGChartz the pre-orders for the highly anticipated Xbox 360 exclusive now stand at 1.21 million copies. This means that over 200 000 people have pre-ordered their copies of the game this week, with just two weeks to go until the game hits shelves on the 22nd of September.
These great pre-order numbers have led VGChartz to predict that ODST will sell over 2 million copies in week one across the Americas.
Modern Warfare 2 is another title that is dominating the pre-order charts, also adding over 200 000 copies to its pre-order score this week. The pre-orders for the Xbox 360 version of the game stand at 1.23 million copies while the PS3 version lags with 400 207 copies. Although bear in mind that Modern Warfare 2 still has 9 weeks to go until it arrives on the 10th of November.

Comments:
Now that magical numbers generator has a way to track pre-orders? Really? I would be asking about how vgchartz manages to pull that information out of thin air.
