Earlier in the week LucasArts revealed that it would be announcing a new original game this week. The publisher stayed true to its word, debuting Lucidity on GameTrailers TV last night.
Lucidity is a puzzle-platformer for Xbox Live Arcade that sees players stepping into the role of Sophie. The game includes thirty story levels and fifteen bonus levels and is scheduled to arrive on Xbox Live Arcade later this month.
The story follows Sophie as she looks for her old grandmother in her dreams, with the player placing objects down in front of Sophie to guide her through the level. Players don’t directly control her, she continues to walk regardless of the objects you place. Apparently LucasArts took some inspiration from other puzzle games including Braid.
Head over to GameTrailers for more information and to check out the first gameplay of Lucidity.
