Savage Moon DLC now available on PSN

Developer FluffyLogic has announced that the first downloadable content for their popular tower defence game Savage Moon, Waldgeist, is now available for download from the PlayStation Store. This new DLC, initially slated to come out in June, will cost £3.19 or €3.99.

Waldgeist adds 6 new level settings, new Insectocytes, new tower types as well as new versions of the 12 exiting levels from Agamemnon to Lotan (playable in both normal and vengeance mode).

FluffyLogic also announced that a patch for the existing game is on the way. The gameplay balance will be tweaked and a new mode will be added that allows players to view the flight path of airborne Insectocytes. A difficulty level will also be added via the Training Mode, allowing players to enjoy the game with a “few key statistics toned down.”

oops!

Looks like after the long wait people are having issues with the update/DLC? Might hold off for a while!

First off we'd like to say a big 'sorry' for the problems that some players have encountered. There is an issue that can arrive depending on whether or not you have the game, trial and patch installed and the order in which this happened.

Here at FluffyLogic we all got up early this morning and are busy looking at the issue and working on a permanent fix! We will let you know as soon as we/Sony find one.

There is a work-around that resolves the issue (and thanks to those who spotted this earlier and helped other users with it!). This is to:

* Delete the game (but not your saves or trophies)
* Re-download trial.
* Run the trial.
* Quit the game.
* Download full game unlock (called "Savage Moon Full Game Unlock", though might be slightly different name in different countries!)
* Run the game.
* Quit the game
* Download Waldgeist DLC.

Run the game.

Also if you are having trouble finding the new levels - in the level select screen go left to access them. We also re-structured the normal/vengence mode stuff so that we could fit more in and you now select the versions of each level in the level select menu.

Note - we've added the ability to see the flying Insectocyte paths which is toggled on/off by R3.

We hope you enjoy Waldgeist and again, huge apologies for the mix-up.

Thanks Tomas, I had this problem with the DLC. I didn't need to run the game between steps though. Sony Australia helped me out this morning.

The DLC is worth the wait and the diffuctly level is high, which is good. There's custom music and a few other tweaks that add up to a great addition to Savage Moon.

I'm loving the Arclight towers !!!
