Activision Publishing recently confirmed to Eurogamer that the cute and stylised Nintendo Miis that run around the inside of your Wii will indeed be making an appearance in the Wii version of Guitar Hero 5, in the same way that Xbox Avatars will be playable in the Xbox 360 version of the game.
PlayStation 3 users, however, have so far been left out of the Guitar Hero 5 avatar party, as there are currently no plans to use avatars from PlayStation Home in the PS3 version of the game. An Activision representative said:
“While there are no plans to have Home avatars for the PS3 version, the US has confirmed that Wii owners will be able to rock out with their Miis in Mii Freestyle Mode.”
Wonderful!
