EA has announced that Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 Commander’s Challenge will be arriving on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network this summer.
Currently in development at EA Los Angeles, the new game will feature the “trademark fast and action-packed C&C gameplay, tongue-in-cheek live-action cinematics, new units and a new game mode.” It will cost 800 Microsoft Points or $9.99.
Commander’s Challenge sees players facing up against nine different commanders including Ric Flairin in 50 challenges, each featuring “its very own over-the-top and distinctive twist, confronting players with everything from giant Soviet war bears and an entire army of psionic Japanese school girls to massive satellite orbital bombardments.”
Players will unlock more units, technology and challenges as they progress. Additionally players can try beat the par time set by the development team for each challenge.
