Sony has revealed that it will be making “significant enhancements” to the way players view trophies online later this week.
Players will soon be able to view detailed information on their trophies on PlayStation.com as well as compare trophies to friends ones and other PSN ID’s.
PS3 owners will also be able to compare details on trophies within each game and track their progress to the next level against friends. Finally players will be able to see what trophies they have and which they still need to unlock for each game.
Sony are also working on enhancing the portable ID with trophy data. This means players will be able to take their portable ID to official game sites, social networks and third party sites, “making it easier to show off your trophies and gamer status with friends online”. Players PlayStation Network Portable ID will link directly to their public trophy page on us.PlayStation.com.
