Warner Bros. has announced that PC and PS3 gamers will be able to download Part 2 of Watchmen: The End is Nigh this month, while Xbox 360 gamers will have to wait until August.
PC gamers will be able to download Part 2 on the 29th of July and PS3 owners on the 30th of July. Both versions will cost $14.99. Part 2 will follow on Xbox Live Arcade on the 16th of August for 1200 Microsoft Points.
PS3 gamers will also be able to get their hands on Parts 1 and 2 in The Complete Experience, a two-disc collectible set that will include the game and the film with an additional 25 minutes of never before seen footage and exclusive artwork. The Watchmen: The End is Nigh: The Complete Experience will be available on the 21st of July for $49.99.
Meanwhile Xbox 360 owners can get Parts 1 and 2 as a single game on the 21st of July for $29.99.
Described as a “hardcore mature action brawler,” Part 1 of Watchmen: The End is Nigh takes place over a decade before the main story of the film and explores the partnership of urban vigilantes Rorschach and Nite Owl before the hero-banning Keene Act. Part 2 sees the duo teaming up again as Rorschach contacts Nite Owl to help find a missing girl known as Violet Greene.

this makes no sense why does it say "Xbox 360 gamers will have to wait until August" at the top, yet at the bottom it says "Xbox 360 owners can get Parts 1 and 2 as a single game on the 21st of July". is that an oversite by 'lisa' or is it a complete shambles in terms of the watchmen videogames developers press release???
Xbox 360 gamers will only be able to download Part 2 of the game in August, but you will be able to get Part 2 via retail outlets in disc format in July.
It is indeed a bit of a confusing press release from Warner Bros but the basic difference between the two dates for the Xbox 360 version is between the downloadable version and the disc version.
