Microsoft recently announced that the European ‘Face of Forza,’ as well as a consultant on the development of the upcoming Forza Motorsport 3, is Swiss-born Natacha Gachnang.
The 21-year-old Gachnang is the first ever female driver to race in the FIA Formula Two Championships, and is currently performing well in the her debut racing season under MotorSport Vision.
Gachnang visited developers of Forza Motorsport 3, Turn 10 in Seattle, to consult on the development of the game, providing advice on the realism of tracks she has raced on, and evaluating car sounds and set-ups.
After testing the experience of Forza 3 for herself, Gachnang commented on the game:
“What a buzz – the tracks, the cars, the handling – the attention to detail is incredible,” said Gachnang. “Forza 3 is a car fans dream! It really feels like I’m right there, in the car, racing round the tracks, all in the comfort of my own living room.”
Forza Motorsport 3 is out on October 23rd.
