LucasArts has announced that a new downloadable level for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 ‘this fall.’
In addition a new version of the game titled The Ultimate Sith Edition will hit shelves for the Xbox 360 and PS3 ‘this holiday season.’ The Ultimate Sith Edition will include all the original missions found in The Force Unleashed as well as content previously only available via download and a new exclusive bonus level.
Players will be able to download the Tatooine content for The Force Unleashed this fall on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. The new level offers a new ‘Infinities’ storyline that begins at the end of the Force Unleashed story and re-imagines the Star Wars saga should the Secret Apprentice have killed Darth Vader and become the Emperor’s right hand man and most powerful Sith Lord. The Emperor’s new apprentice is sent to Tatooine to track down Obi-Wan Kenobi, exploring Jabba the Hutt’s palace and facing bounty hunter Boba Fett along the way.
Star Wars The Force Unleashed: The Ultimate Sith Edition will include three new levels, two levels set on Coruscant and Tatooine previously only available via download, and a new exclusive level. The new level concludes the ‘Infinities’ storyline set up in the Tatooine mission, with the Secret Apprentice travelling to the planet Hoth to battle Luke Skywalker and crush the Rebellion.
