EA and Pandemic Studios have announced that their upcoming open-world action adventure The Saboteur will be available across Europe and North America on the 8th of December. The game will be available for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
Set in 1940s Nazi-occupied France, the game is inspired by a true story and stars Sean Devlin, an Irish race car driver who is trapped behind enemy lines. Sean begins a journey of revenge through open-world Paris as, aided by the French resistance and British intelligence, he sabotages Nazi operations by derailing trains and blowing up zeppelins using various weapons, explosives and vehicles.
As Sean takes down enemies, the Parisians are empowered to resist the Third Reich thanks to the ‘Will to Fight’ which turns them into something of an underground resistance, changing the way they see and feel Paris – from a policed state to a colourful world where they can fight back. As players carry out sabotage attacks, they will notice colour returning to the stylized black and white world.
“The Saboteur is an entirely new take on WWII action gaming. Instead of putting players in the role of a soldier, they’ll experience one man’s quest for vengeance through an incredible story and an epic range of explosive action. Every street of Paris is alive with options, every block is teeming with action,” said Josh Resnick, President of Pandemic Studios.
“We’re extremely proud of The Saboteur. The art style, intense story, and grand acts of defiance against the Nazis will deliver the one-of-a-kind experience that Pandemic fans have been waiting for.”

Waiting for this one...Assasins Creed with guns :)
Yeah, it does look interesting. Kind of like a film noir feel to it.
