According to a variety of forums posts on Xbox.com, users are having troubles with their Xbox LIVE Marketplace purchases ‘disappearing’ and other miscellaneous issues related to viewing content on the Marketplace.

A message has appeared on Xbox.com confirming knowledge of the issues, assuring users that they’re working on it:

“Users may experience difficulties when attempting to use Marketplace and/or making purchases. We are aware of the problem and working to resolve the technical issues. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience.”

These problems are a continuation of issues Xbox LIVE users have been experiencing on and off since the last service update, which were said to have been fixed a few days later, although it’s now apparent that the issues are persisting.
