Earlier in June Telltale Games announced that a series of five episodic games entitled Tales of Money Island were currently in development. The games will be released on the PC and WiiWare starting on the 7th of July.

Episode one is titled Launch of the Screaming Narwhal and Telltale just released a gameplay launch trailer showing some of the game’s hilarious banter between characters. Check it out below:

Here’s a little bit more information about the game: “While battling his nemesis, the evil pirate LeChuck, Guybrush accidentally unleashes an insidious voodoo pox that threatens to transform the buccaneers of the Caribbean into unruly pirate monsters.” This pirate adventure promises to deliver the “humor, romance, and swashbuckling action the Monkey Island games are famous for.”
