Chart Track UK Software Sales for week ending 11/07: Tiger Woods takes the top

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 (sales down 1%) has managed to one-up EA’s other sports title, Fight Night Round 4 (sales down 45%), to reach the No. 1 spot on the UK Software Sales Chart this week from No. 2 last week.

While Fight Night Round 4 has to make do with No. 2 from No. 1, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (sales down 2%) is a non-mover at No. 3. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (sales up 71%), however, at No. 4 this week from No. 10, and fuelled by the upcoming release of the movie by the same name, is looking dangerous.

Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood (sales up 10%) moves up one place to No. 5 from No. 6 last week, Wii Fit (sales down 8%) is forced to fall two places to No. 6 this week from No. 4, and Virtua Tennis (sales up 12%) keeps in the Top Ten for the fourth week by reaching No. 7 from No. 9 last week.

The Sims 3 (sales down 21%) charts at No. 8 from No. 7, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (sales up 10%) re-enters the chart at No. 9 and Prototype (sales down 32%) makes up the No. 10 place from No. 8 last week.

Other interesting movement on the chart this week includes UFC 2009: Undisputed moving out of the Top Ten from No. 5 to No. 11 this week, Guitar Hero: World Tour making a mini resurgence to No. 19 from No. 25, the Fallout 3: Game Add-on Pack moving up to No. 22 from No. 27 last week, Ghostbusters: The Video Game sliding down to No. 25 from No. 19, SEGA Superstars Tennis leaping to No. 26 this week from No. 33, The Conduit making its debut at No. 29, Overlord II slipping to No. 33 from No. 18 last week, and Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite falling a long way down to No. 38 this week from No. 28.
