In the last developer diary of the series, MAG developers Zipper Interactive talk about how they’re trying to ensure that players don’t feel like a “cog in the machine” amongst the 256 players that are able to take part in a match.

In order to do this, they came up with the idea to break objectives down into smaller tasks that squads of players can accomplish in order to contribute to the overall progress of their team, conveying the feeling of achievement.
