The Behemoth (Alien Hominid, Castle Crashers) have released a few more details about their upcoming game, currently known only as Game #3.

According to a FAQ posted on the developer’s forums, you will be able to play this game single player and there is a story/campaign mode. The game will also include co-op and team versus modes online or offline multiplayer.

Players will also be able to customize their character, by choosing a head shape, face, weapon and colour. However, since “the four leader colors set the four team colors, so the team colors are always different.” You will also be able to unlock characters, weapons and levels.

Last but not least we also know that the game is fun. According to The Behemoth, “We throw out projects in the works that are not fun. Did you know we completely threw out the first incarnation of Castle Crashers?”

Game #3 will be released in 2010. We just don’t know on what platforms or how much it will cost yet.
