Screenshots for James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game have been released, showing off the environments of Pandora, an alien planet “that is beyond imagination,” featured in the film on which the game is based
The developers of the game are promising encounters with Pandora’s indigenous people, the Na’vi, as well as the opportunity to meet other life forms “the likes of which have never been seen in the world of video games before.” That’s quite a tall order.
Players will be tasked with choosing between the Na’vi and the RDA Corporation when a massive conflict erupts between the two factions, as you customise your character, skills set and weapons load-out.
