E3 2009: A trio of Metroid: Other M screenshots and a debut trailer to gawp over

At Nintendo’s E3 2009 press conference, a brand new entry to the Metroid series was announced to be in development by Team Ninja (Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive) for the Wii, with three new screenshots released to accompany the reveal.

Not much is known about the title so far, except that it seems as though the game will be more third-person orientated than Retro Studios’ iterations of the series, while first-person action will be present as well. It also appears as though Metroid: Other M will contain more cinematic elements (as compared to previous entries) to help the story along.
