Popular XBLA title Castle Crashers has reached one million players. This is the latest word from developer The Behemoth who announced that this milestone was achieved less than 10 months after the game’s release, making Castle Crashers the fastest growing XBLA game in history.

The developer was running a contest to see who could guess the date of when the leaderboards reached 1 million. Turns out that fan DenisDenis was just three minutes off the time, player number 1 million signed up at 12:57 PM yesterday. Lucky man walks away with a custom Castle Crasher Elite Xbox, a limited edition castle, bronze knight figurine and a couple of other cool items.
