It was recently announced that, should you pre-order the next entry to the Halo game franchise, Halo 3: ODST, before its September 22nd release date (at participating retailers), you’ll be entitled to a playable character in the form of Sgt. Johnson, a mainstay character from the series, for use in ODST’s Firefight mode.

Firefight in Halo 3: ODST pits you and a squad of other players against increasingly challenging waves of enemies, taking down each new wave before being ‘treated’ to another.

You either know who Sgt. Johnson is, or you don’t, so your particular level of excitement will scale accordingly.
