Continuing the series of Trauma Center games that have appeared on the Wii and DS, a new entry to the franchise has been unveiled in the form of Trauma Team for the Wii, releasing in the Spring of next year.
Being billed as a “medical entertainment experience,” Atlus announced today that Trauma Team will incorporate six distinct fields of medicine, including the ability to play as a general surgeon, diagnostician, E.M.T., orthopedic surgeon, endoscope technician and a medical examiner. Sounds complicated. Good thing it’s a game!
Trauma Team is also said to include “dynamic” story sequences inspired by traditional Japanese animation and comics, which is pretty evident from the screenshots, as each chapter “comes vividly to life with distinct style,” while the “quality voice acting” rounds out the experience, increasing the intensity of every medical emergency that heads your way.
