First footage of Ico/Shadow of the Colossus follow-up, Trico, unveiled
The gaming world has been set ablaze over the last few hours as the first (unofficially released) footage of Trico has been leaked. Although it’s apparently over a year old at this point, the footage has been confirmed to be from Fumito Ueda’s development team and current project, Trico.
Trico, a game from the developers of classics Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, looks to follow the look and feel of its predecessors, while introducing a whole new element to the experience in the form of a friendly, giant bird… cat… thing.

Awesome. Combining the most endearing aspects of ICO and Shadow, this looks terrific. I likely now have over a year to prepare for the bird-cat-thing's likely demise at the end of the game. sniff
Yeah, I was worried about that too. Hopefully the developers will think of some other way to bring a tear to a player's eye, rather than offing the cute creature...
Whatever this game is, it's zoomed straight to the top of my radar (right next to Brutal Legend and RAGE, that is...).
Ico and Shadow of the Colossus remain two of my all time favourite games. By the looks of this trailer the developer has brought the same amazing atmosphere into this new game - I expect great things!!
