Bethesda Softworks has announced that new DLC for Fallout 3 titled Operation: Anchorage will be coming to the PS3 in late June.
Two more DLC packs, The Pitt and Broken Steel, will also be released for the PS3, following at four to six week intervals. A new update will be released for the PS3 that will allow users to download and play the new DLC, however, it’s not known yet when this update will be released.
Bethesda also revealed that two new DLCs will be released for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Point Lookout will enable players to explore a “massive new swampland area filled with new quests and content” while players can “experience an alien abduction first hand” in Mothership Zeta when the aliens return.
Point Lookout will be available for the Xbox 360 and PC in late June. It will cost 800 Microsoft Points. It will only be available for the PS3 once the first three DLCs have been released. Mothership Zeta will be released for Xbox 360 and PC in late July. It will also cost 800 Microsoft Points and will be available for the PS3 after Point Lookout.
New Fallout 3 products will also be available at retail this year. The Fallout 3 Game Add-on pack #l, including The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage on a disc, will be available for the Xbox 360 and PC on the 26th of May in the US and the 12th of June across Europe. Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #2, including Broken Steel and Point Lookout on a disc, will be available for the Xbox 360 and PC in August across Europe and North America.
