Major Nelson, the king of all X-Bots, has officially announced that Xbox 360 owners (living in the US) are now able to buy Xbox LIVE Arcade games directly through the enormous online shopping service, Amazon, and their Xbox LIVE Store.
You will also be able to buy MS Points (for use in the Xbox LIVE Marketplace) as well as subscriptions to Xbox LIVE.
Once you make a purchase on Amazon, you’ll receive a code to use in Marketplace, or you can redeem the code directly at Xbox.com. Additionally, you’ll be able to gift games and MS Points to your friends and family as usual on Amazon.
This service will most probably be offered to users in other parts of the world in the near future, but is currently restricted to the US.
