DSi sales reach 92K in UK in just two days
Nintendo’s DSi sold 92 000 units in just two days since the new handheld was launched across the UK last Friday.
According to GamesIndustry.biz, UK retailers recorded impressive pre-orders for the DSi and Chart Track data showed that the new console outsold all other console hardware in the region combined and scored the fourth largest hardware launch in UK history.
Retailing at £149.99 in the UK, the third iteration of the popular handheld boasts two built-in interactive cameras that allow gamers to take and modify photos. Players will also be able to play and manipulate recorded sounds as well as download new games and applications using the new DSi Shop.
