Capcom has finally dated the new online multiplayer mode for Resident Evil 5. Versus mode is available to download on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network today, the 7th of April. The new mode will cost you 400 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live and $4.99 on the PlayStation Network.
Versus mode allows up to four players to fight in online battles across two different game types. Slayer’s Rule is a point-based game where players are challenged to kill Majinis while Survivor’s Rule sees players hunting each other. Begin the hunt as Chris, Sheva or other secret characters and choose from one-on-one or two-versus-two team matches for either of the gameplay styles.
