In what turned out to be a pleasant piece of news yesterday, when it was announced that Tekken 6 would be releasing on the PSP, it’s now been revealed that a version of Tekken’s younger sibling, Soul Calibur, will be making an appearance on the PSP as well.
Entitled Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny, the game is based on the Soul Calibur IV technology, while it is also promised to be an almost direct port of that game, only to the diminutive handheld with the expected drop in visual quality but, if reports are to be believed, Broken Destiny is still looking amazing.
All of the features from Soul Calibur IV will be present (including the character creation mode), while the PSP necessities (multiplayer via Ad-Hoc, for example) will be included. The character list is set at ‘more than twenty,’ though, and that doesn’t include Darth Vader or Yoda, unfortunately.
