Capcom have released a new batch of screenshots, and a trailer, for their on-rails first-person Resident Evil action shooter, The Darkside Chronicles, releasing on the Wii at the end of the year.
It’s looking pretty darn detailed, as Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield move through the environments first introduced in Resident Evil 2, such as the classic police station in Raccoon City.
The game also adds a two-player option, or the option of engaging the help of an A.I. controlled second player, while a new ‘evade’ system, which probably uses extreme amounts of WiiMote waggle to escape from attacking creatures, also features in the The Darkside Chronicles.

Comments:
The past week of my life has been dominated by Resident Evil. It started when I popped the Resident Evil 5 disc into my PS3, one of the best games that I have ever played, and ended a few nights ago with a viewing of the CG film Resident Evil: Degeneration.
And what do I have to show for all this time spent with these zombies? An excellent shot with the sniper rifle, getting up close and personal with the shotgun and a good idea of how to survive a zombie invasion.
Bring on more Resident Evil action!
