It seems Wii Fit isn’t going down without a fight, as it hits the top of the UK All Formats Software Sales Chart this week for a third time in a row, now totalling twelve weeks at the No. 1 position, despite sales falling by 30%.
The Godfather remains at No. 2 from last week (sales down 32%) as another EA game, Fifa 09, climbs two places from No. 5 last week to No. 3 (sales down 17%). Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games steps down to No. 4 from No. 3 last week (sales down 35%), while former chart star, Resident Evil 5, also moves down one place to No. 5 this week from No. 4.
Professor Layton and the Curious Village moves up a place to No. 6 from No. 7 last week, while Mario Kart Wii makes a good leap to No. 7 from No. 9. Wii Play is a non-mover at No. 8 this week, as Call of Duty: World at War moves down to No. 9 from No. 6 last week, and Carnival: Funfair Games leaps to No. 10 this week from No. 16.
Other interesting movement on the chart this week includes Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party moving up to No. 15 from No. 21 last week, Wheelman moving down to No. 16 from No. 12, LEGO Indiana Jones moving up to No. 18 this week from No. 25, GTA: Chinatown Wars moving down to No. 21 from No. 19, SEGA Mega-Drive: Ultimate Collection jumping up to No. 25 from No. 36 last week, Kung-Fu Panda making a similar leap up to No. 26 this week from No. 37, Pro Evolution Soccer moving up to No. 27 from No. 31 last week and Wanted: Weapons of Fate, tumbling a long way to No. 40 from No. 20 last week.
