Sony has revealed that a new Jak and Daxter adventure is headed to the PS2 and PSP. Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier will be available across PAL territories this autumn.
Developed by High Impact Games, the Lost Frontier picks up from where the original Jak and Daxter trilogy left off. The game sees the famous duo teaming up with Kiera, travelling on foot to undiscovered lands and taking to the sky in one of five different aircrafts as they embark on a mission to save their planet from ‘dark eco.’
You will also be introduced to the Gunstaff, a powerful new weapon that can transform into other new weapons and is key in defeating air pirates and sinister creatures that players will encounter along the way.
Despite being announced on April Fools’ Day, High Impact Games has assured us that Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier is very real and is currently in development. If you need any more assuring, head over to SCEA’s PlayStation Blog or High Impact Games website.
