A Boy and His Blob first appeared on the NES in 1989 but today we receive news that the game will see a revival on the Wii.
In addition to detailing the new Excitebots: Trick Racing for the Wii, the latest edition of Nintendo Power also reveals that A Boy and His Blob is in development for the Wii.
Although the original game was slated to receive a DS sequel in 2005, the title was put on hold because of Majesco’s financial woes and eventually cancelled altogether. This new title is being developed by WayForward (known for Shantae and Lit) and according to Nintendo Power, “this reinvention of the property on Wii is simply stunning.”
Head over to Nintendo Power for more details about the game but not before checking out the first screens below.
