Fans haven’t been able to get enough of Magic Ball since the game was released on the PlayStation Network in January. This arcade adventure game soon earned a top three spot among the top 10 best-selling titles on the PlayStation Network and has remained in the top 10 for two months.
Alawar Entertainment commissioned Creat Studios to redesign the PC version of Magic Ball for the PS3, a sound decision since over two million Magic Ball games on various platforms have been purchased to date.
Magic Ball is a “fresh spin on classic brick-breaking gameplay in which players bust apart a 3D environment, piece by piece.” Players will smash their way through nearly 50 levels of stylized levels, including pirate islands and castles, using special power ups such as cannons and laser attachments.
Up to two players can jump into the action, either working together to finish clearing an area in record time or challenging one another to see who can clear the area first. The game supports local and online multiplayer as well as in-game live voice communications. Magic Ball fanatics can also purchase new game modes and levels online.
