If you’re a fan of 2D fighters, you have to watch this debut trailer for The King of Fighters XII – it looks absolutely amazing!

The producers of The King of Fighters XII profess that the game is one hundred percent hand-drawn, and if that’s the case, it makes the visuals that much more of an achievement. The smooth character animation and super detailed background art add up to a thing to behold.

While fans of The King of Fighters series have been subjected to remakes and mash-ups in the past, XII looks like it’s going to wipe the past away. Watch below!

The King of Fighers XII is said to be launching soon, on Arcade units first, and then PS3 and Xbox 360 a little later.
