After quite a long wait, gamers in the UK will finally be able to pick up Dementium: The Ward, a first-person survival horror game, for the Nintendo DS.
Releasing in the US at the end of 2007, the game is set to release in the UK on April 17th (this year).
Reviews were pretty favourable, sighting the incredible audio and graphical prowess of Dementium, but lambasting the game for its level-based saving system.
Dementium: The Ward “sees the player trapped in a spooky derelict hospital, with no memory of how they got there.
“You must explore the dark corridors and battle against the hospital’s horrific inhabitants… in a bid to uncover the terrible truth of your mysterious past.”
Managing Director, SouthPeak Games, Jonathan Hales commented; “We’re delighted to be releasing Dementium: The Ward in the UK and we’re sure that DS owners will enjoy playing this unique and terrifying survival horror.
“With its incredible graphics and deep storyline, Dementium is an experience like nothing else on Nintendo DS.”
