GDC 2009: Rock N’ Roll climber makes use of Balance Board
Nintendo also announced a new game for WiiWare during Satoru Iwata’s keynote address at GDC today. Rock N’ Roll Climber will make use of the Balance Board accessory to help users simulate the experience of rock climbing.
The game is being developed by Vitei but further than that details are still sketchy. We do hope to have more news on this title soon so stay tuned.

Rock climbing? On a balance board? Huzzah?
I've been rock climbing for quite a while now but I can;t really imagine how the balance board can "simulate the experience of rock climbing." I can understand it if it were another board sport - like the Shaun White Snowboarding game, but rock climbing? This I gotta see to believe.
