Titan Studios is showing off their upcoming PlayStation Network game Fat Princess at the Game Developers Conference, currently underway in San Francisco.
Watch this interview with SCEA Senior Producer Deborah Mars and Associate Producer Matter Morton to find out some interesting facts about the game, including how the class system works, more about the mini-map and hat machine as well as why the team chose a cartoony art style.
Fat Princess pits two hordes of players against each other in a comic medieval royal battle. The goal is simple, rescue the princess from the enemy dungeon, or is it? The enemy has been fattening up your princess and now its going to take most of your army to get her back across the battlefield. Players can change between five character classes ( Worker, Warrior, Ranger, Mage and Priest) simply by picking up a new hat and create a personal avatar before charging into battle.
The game includes a ten chapter single player campaign, as well as custom games of Rescue the Princess, Capture the Princess, Team Deathmatch and Invasion. The game boasts eight maps plus two special arena-style single player levels. Players will also be able to face off in online matches with up to 32 players with in-game voice chat.
