MTV Multiplayer Blog have recently posted up a trailer for Scratch: The Ultimate DJ, Genius Products and Seven Studios’ attempt at cutting Activision Blizzard’s DJ Hero off at the pass. It’s looking pretty interesting.
Players control the action with a turntable controller, as they input the required commands as dictated by the on-screen prompts, ala Guitar Hero/Rock Band. Artists tied to the game so far include Kanye West, The Beastie Boys, Nelly, Run DMC, Gorillaz ‘and more.’
DJ Mix Master Mike, who is helping maintain the authenticity of the title, says that Scratch: The Ultimate DJ could become bigger than Guitar Hero. Watch the first trailer for the game below (sorry Canada and UK):
