Ster-Kinekor has confirmed that Job Island will be arriving on South African shelves this April.
Published by Hudson Entertainment, Job Island is a life simulation game for the Wii that sees players embarking on a mission to save the world from extinction by completing over fifty different jobs.
The game’s story mode challenges players to take on a diverse range of jobs and out-perform others to earn the cash. Browse in-game ads to find interesting jobs ranging from Security Guard to Sushi Chef to Haunted House Monster and even a Sumo Referee. Each profession has three difficulty levels and a dedicated sub-game where players compete to take home the day’s pay. Players can compete in 30 mini-games from the start with more challenges being unlocked as you progress through the story mode.
Job Island also includes a training mode as well as a multiplayer feature where gamers can compete head-to-head in up to fifteen different jobs. After completing a job players will be rewarded with money and can hit the pavement shopping to buy items to enhance their chances in later career choices…or use their cash to buy special defensive goods to help save the planet or delay its extinction from a series of meteors.
Look out for Job Island, also known as Help Wanted, this April in South Africa.
