Major Nelson has let everybody know that the much-rumoured, highly illusive red Resident Evil 5 limited edition Xbox 360 is real.

The special red console will be available when Resident Evil 5 is available in stores on March 13, bundled with a copy of Resident Evil 5.

Included in the box, you’ll find a red wireless Xbox 360 controller, a 120GB hard drive, an exclusive Resident Evil Premium theme (downloaded via Xbox LIVE), a black wired headset, the necessary HD-ready cables and Super Street Figter II Turbo HD Remix (also downloaded through Xbox LIVE).

Sounds like a great deal, all for a recommended retail price of $399.
