There are two rather intriguing bits of downloadable content (DLC) on Xbox LIVE Arcade today, as not only Snowblind Studios’ long-in-development Death Tank arrives on the service, but additional content for The Maw has also surfaced. Death Tank is described thus:
“Through Xbox LIVE, up to eight tanks can simultaneously enter the arena for exciting co-op or chaotic free-for-all play! Devastating weapons and unique items give your tank unlimited destructive power. Eight separate landscapes react to tank combat, altering their shape when hit and providing an ever changing environment in which to play.”
The Maw’s DLC, on the other hand, is described as a ‘deleted scene’ from the full game, as the Bounty Hunters have sent an elite strike force, known as the Brutes, to stop the game’s protagonists, Frank and Maw. This story apparently takes place between the Bulb Valley and Chaindown levels from The Maw.
